Ian CR Martin Studio

Ian C.R. Martin is an artist, and designer based in Los Angeles. He graduated with a masters degree in sculpture from the New York Academy of Art, and has worked for over a decade as an interior designer while maintaining a studio art practice.

Martin’s sculpture is composed of concentric lines, and interlocking shapes that are inspired by ritual objects, architecture, and industrial design. Experimentation with materials, and atypical mold-making techniques are central to his creative process.
